Spam assassin is an advanced service enabling the complete control over e-mails you are receiving. You can by yourself determine the level of protection against viruses and spams.

Deactivating of the Service
By click on this key you are deleting all settings. Please note that in this case you remain completely without protection against spam messages and viruses.

Lower level of protection
It serves for setting of predefined values which constitute a lower level of protection.

Higher level of protection
Higher level of protection means the setting of predefined values constituting a strong protection from viruses and spams.

Scanning of e-mails against viruses
Tick if you want our virus scanner to check your mail against viruses. In case it finds a virus the mail will not be delivered to you. We recommend this option to be activated.

Email raport
For each virus found in a mail you will receive a report, and the infected mail will not be delivered.

Blocking of e-mails and domains which are on rbl list
Neobee uses services of international data bases which are storing addresses of known senders of spam messages. In case you do not want to receive messages from such addresses, just activate this option.

Scanning e-mails against spams
Neobee has special software which scans the received e-mails and on the basis of special algorithm and level to be determined by yourselves (level of warning and level of rejection), it concludes which message should be treated as a spam. You may define the levels giving them values from 1 to 100. The lower level, more rigorous the scanning.

Level of warning against spam message
You can define the level of warning by giving values from 1 to 100. The value should be lower than the value of “Level of rejection of the spam message” because these messages will not be deleted, and in the subject of e-mail the warning will be written: [SPAM]

Level of rejection of the spam message
The value of the warning level is determined with values from 1 to 100. The value should be higher than the value of “The Warning level for spam message”, and all e-mails that are evaluated higher than you have indicated, will be deleted without your direct permission.

Black lists
Black lists consist of all e-mails the receiving of which you want to forbid. All e-mails entered into Black List will automatically be deleted

White lists
White lists contain all e-mails you want to receive regardless of whether they are on RBL list. It happens that some domains get into RBL lists due to enormous quantity of spam messages sent from them, as it was the case with hotmail.com. Due to such cases, the white lists are created, in order that the wanted e-mails could arrive regardless of RBL lists

Setting of Black and White lists
Black and white lists are set in the same way, but they perform the opposite function. Black lists block e-mails, and White lists enable the receiving. The lists can be set in two ways. First, according to e-mail (for example: kazaa@surf.com <mailto:kazaa@surf.com>), and second, according to domain (for example: surf.com)

Entering into the list
It is very important to know the correct e-mail you want to enter into the list. You can find out the correct e-mail when you click in Outlook with the right mouse button at the spam message and choose properties. After that, click on message source.

What matters here is the Return-path. Only there you can see the correct address. Looking at address from “From” field is not good method because here in the most cases the real e-mail address cannot be seen (in the cases when spam is considered). Re-write the address (or simply mark the text and copy) into the field for entering.

Deleting from the list
When you want to delete some e-mail or domain from the list, check all entered e-mails and domains, then click 'delete'.
